great story but lacks romantic heat! This book was as good as the first in the series. I still wanted more romance and intimacy from the two main characters. The few love scenes were pretty much glossed over with hardly a word about it even though they held back for a book and a half and didn’t do the deed until a few nights before the wedding. Aside from the lack of romance, Aurora and Kai are mates and love each other, so they fight for each other throughout the book. The story continues on whe...
I just finished Devi and it was amazing! My only wish is that for the oncoming book(s) that it all end with happiness. Meaning no one dies and Aurora and Kai have two children just like they wanted and live happily ever after. Now a days every book I read ends with mass destruction and no happy endings. I wish for this one series to be my exception and prove me wrong, that not all books end with sadness. I'd even be okay if the series ended with Aurora staring at a pregnancy test and the next mo...
DNF 8% - not for me
This book was just as good as the first. I love the way Leia writes and her creativity in this series is astounding. Kai and Aurora grow closer together and wedding bells can be heard. New threats and friends turned to enemies surround the wolves. Devastating loss and shocking secrets all come out in this story. Looking forward to the next one!!
ThE vampire grrReally liked this book. Defo need to read the first book to follow it on. Hope layla is stopped and Kai has his babies.
A hybrid's choiceI was completely riveted by this story. This book's numerous and exciting adventures were amazing. The action scenes were phenomenal, kudos to the author. Fellow readers this is another keeper. I highly recommend.😊
Great readSolid clean storyline, plenty of action & suspense to keep you plenty interested & romance to boot! Highly recommend it!
Devi, the second book in the Matefinder series picks up where Matefinder ends. Aurora is hunted by the vampires for her blood. The vamps want little vampy babies too, it is only fair. She is also exploring her witchery side. Here she finds that is not only is special because is a witch vampire hybrid, but she has two affinities. This means that she is a Devi, a person who serves as a host to an angel with a purpose. The emotional detachment of Kai and Aurora was too much for me. There is still no...

*sighs* well it's better than the first, that's one good thing.Let's start with the elephant in the room. It seems that the "angel", or good spirit, or whatever, choose Aurora because she has a good soul. She is kind and... she Is VeGeTaRiAn. Yep, you hear it here folks, if you heat meat you are MeAn. I was vegetarian for two years before going back to the dark side. And let's not talk about the fact that Aurora said that she bullied a girl in school just because. Yeah let's not give a eff about...
I haven't had this feeling in a while. The sadness and anxiety when I realize a series isn't finished yet and I have to wait for book 3. But do I think it'll be worth the wait??? Hell yes. I loved this book. More fighting and romance than the first, but also some heartache and mystery over what the future holds for Aurora. I cant wait to continue the story.
I didn’t love this book quite as much as the first in the series but I did still enjoy it for the most part. It definitely suffered a little from second book syndrome and the story seemed to have trouble hitting its stride. It only really picked up about halfway through, that’s when things started getting interesting and the story captured my attention again. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how it all plays out in the final book!
Leia Stone is refreshing, a little edgy, and a whole lot of fun. There's comedy, romance, action, and complex relationships throughout her work. Oh, and werewolves, who doesn't love werewolves? I love the kick-arse attitude of her female protagonists. Stone always gives us someone to loathe as well. She is one to watch out for, people.
