Short biography for Chains of Magic

Visits to the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre at Stratford upon Avon in the UK have been a regular feature of my life for almost as long as I can remember. A few years ago I started on a project to imagine the life and thoughts of some of Shakespeare’s heroines when they are off stage. This story about Desdemona’s plans to woo and win Othello through food – and anything else it takes – is part of this project.

When not writing, or thinking about writing, I work as a trustee-director for a couple of charities, help out front of house with a local amateur theatre, swim, and take my dog for longer walks than he sometimes feels are entirely necessary. Facebook.com/pages/Margaret-Egrot/137...
