BatsAnother great saga of Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl against our favorite villainous clown and Riddler. A wealthy pharmacist has put out a bounty on Joker causing all of Gotham to want to kill him.
Reliable Gotham storyPretty good read. Just a little predictable in the storyline. As usual, Joker up to his shenanigans, Riddler trying to get his cut and Clayface wanting it all. Great time reading to my four year old, he is just finding his comic book experience. He really likes Batman. I don't know where he gets it from...
Very good comic book. The graphics are great. The story line was perfect. Ending was awesome. The characters had great personalities. I recommend this comic book to anyone that is interested. This is the first issue of a comic book series. The joker escapes yet again. But this time a rich businessman offers a reward to anyone that kills the Joker. So Batman and his cohorts have to keep the Joker hidden until they can straighten everything out.I have never been a fan of this style of art. It seems very childish and makes the stories seem more juvenile.
Nothing like the classic BatmanI'm new to reading comics but I have been a huge fan of the old Batman tv show. Loved to read this and will definitely want to read more from this series.
Good short storyThe drawing reminds me of the Batman cartoon we saw growing up and the story is short and interesting. Recommended as a quick read comic book.
Great story that kinda revives that animated series It was very nice to read a book about the original animated series.It had a great storyline and was very interesting.I liked how it tied in all the characters for example Bat man himself Robin,Nightwing,and Batgirl.I disliked the use of villains.I think they could've added more.None of the less...Great story.I would recommend this book to a good friend of mine named Jordan.He kinda needs to read up on The Batman

Fans of the cartoon won't be disappointed.This issue was great. As a fan of the cartoon, it captured the feeling of the first few seasons and old animation with the continuity and designs of the last. Really well done. I wish the cartoon had played like this instead of the comedy fest the last season became. Really great first issue.
Great start to a great series!I picked up this series because of its similarity to Batman the Animated Series, and was happy to find that it is! This read like a BTAS episode in comic form, from the art to the storyline. I'm happy to have stumbled across it and I look forward to reading the rest of the series!
A book for the youngThat's how I see it. The only adult thing I saw was the question as to why Joker is allowed to murder, escape and then do it all over again. Reid is a compassionate man but not a smart one. Now he'll share some of the blame for future murders. So will Batman and many others.
Bat familyMy heart hurts. To borrow from Stan Lee, ' nuff said. Argle bargle jargon jargle, hurtful idiocy is needed for poor goodreads. Accuracy, brevity and precision are no longer prized.
Very good!!!It was a very good comic book. I really liked the joker in it. It keep my interest . I'd read it again.
The humor in this is quite funny and some of the Joker's lines are quite telling. So why 2 stars? Look at the cover, see Batgirl. It takes her over half the comic to actually have a line even though she is in several panels and is supposing helping Batman and Robin. Nightwing shows up midway, and gets a line before her. And then she is left to guard the Joker, fails, and is bailed out by Alfred, but the men are all doing heroic things.
Batman the cartoon adventures doesn’t feel like it belongs in “serious” comic book format.
Read it like I was watching the animated series. Great story.
Greatness in GothamThis is a good read with a lot of action. It will keep you hooked, front to back. The color and graphics are amazing. This is a positive recommendation for time well spent enjoying good graphic art and dialogue.
Loved itI enjoyed every minute of it. It was a quick read and easy to follow along. I loved the art work as well.
Based on tv seriesA nice selection of villains. Artwork is very true to the series. Involves robin , nightwing and batgirl , what is getting to be the whole crowd . I still like the solo adventures better. But this is ok as well.
