Steve Owens is a young high school Deputy Head Teacher. He used to enjoy his job, but these days he can't seem to remember why he became a teacher in the first place.

When previously troubled pupils suddenly start behaving and loving school again, Steve wonders if it has something to do with the mysterious methods of the school's behaviour specialist, Jennifer.

Steve decides that a visit to 'The Unit' is in order. But will the man who enters, be the same man who leaves?
