At 25 years of age, Jean Louise, returns to her hometown in Maycomb, Alabama where things have drastically changed. She arrives home excited and giddy to go and see her father, Atticus. Scout also makes plans to see her longtime suitor, Henry ‘Hank’ Clinton, who is working for her father. She thinks she may be ready to settle down move back to Maycomb, Alabama for good, but what she discovers and the changes in her home town, change everything she ever knew.
