Field of Fingers

Field of Fingers

Sarah Snook
0/5 ( ratings)
Based on the true misadventures of a political operative, Field of Fingers opens with Stan Rooter’s 20 minute ride toward political sainthood.

After a four-year fall to shame and depression, he bottoms out as the nation sweeps up in Senator Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. Pushed out of the campaign, Stan finds his only chance at cosmic revenge is to join Mitch Fingerman’s congressional race against an incumbent who’s never lost. The district is decidedly conservative. The natives are not friendly.

Watch as Stan travels a campaign trail littered with danger and peril. This hipster-liberal walks through the bass-thumping hood to incite the vote. He marches through back streets seething with conservative anger to sell a fiscally responsible Democrat.

With every step he takes, Stan must battle his demons and the looming shadow of the Barack Obama phenomenon which blocks out the sun and pulls all the volunteers in the city. Dodging car crashes, a freak storm, a looming economic crash, and a bitter mutiny in the campaign office, Stan finds the answers to his own life after uttering every good profanity known to man.

Expecting a bawdy, political sex scandal like Primary Colors or Ides of March? Too bad. That’s not how Field of Fingers, or Stan, delivers the laughs. During campaign season, nobody really has time to get laid.
