Science Fiction Thriller
Mike Forward, a young Bank executive and State Emergency Services volunteer is called out one night during a fierce storm to help rescue a driver trapped in his rolled vehicle. Mike is struck by lightning and spends several day in a coma in hospital. When he regains consciousness, he finds that he can travel into the past by focusing his thoughts on a particular period of time.
His new ability helps him to solve crimes, locate witnesses and track down a missing child. He also discovers that Leonardo da Vinci is a trapped time traveler. Mike is adamant that he won't change the past as that could have disastrous effects on the present.
Danny, a small time Irish criminal asks Mike for help to avoid being convicted of tax evasion. Danny's accountant is in debt to "The Mob" for gambling so, to claim a reward, he intends to give Danny's financial records to the Police.
Ahmad, an Australian born terrorist with a group called the Black Death, hears about Mike's ability and asks him for help in what seems at first, to be a harmless enough event. Mike discovers however, that it is the assassination of the Prime Minister and The Pope who is visiting Australia. Thousands of innocent by-standers would also die in the assassination.
Mike refuses, but his ex-wife Barbara and girlfriend Julia are taken hostage and tortured by the terrorists to force Mike to change his mind.
Can he rescue Barbara and Julia and stop the assassination without changing the past? Only Time Will Tell.
