Several tales have been articulated in Puranas about Ganga's formation, relating with why and how Bhagiratha brought Ganga from Heaven to Earth. They have been depicted with Theological concepts and events that portray very hypothetical picture. Lots of magic, miracles, powers, and alienated creatures. As we advance in our scientific world, every philosophy needs a proof, or correlation to modern science, and otherwise, becomes a considered Myth or a Fairytale. That’s how several epics of Sanatana Dharma are being portrayed as Mythologies. During several instance, various intellectuals have drawn parallel lines between these myths and scientific advancements. This gives an insight to the community of what could have happened in the past during epics like Ramayana, Mahabharata and others. Following these intellectuals footsteps, I am also endeavoring to correlate and manifest, through the prism of Modern Science, the legend of how Bhagiratha descended Ganga from heaven to earth.
