One action of hers told a story, for twice in her restless walk She paused to look at her left hand, on which a wedding-ring glittered; and the second time struck it almost passionately with her right, and wrung them in mute anguish, then turned sharply as with a slight tap the door opened, and a little round, good-natured looking body came in with some journal in her hand.
