Sleeping with Arthur

Sleeping with Arthur

McKinley Beechwood
0/5 ( ratings)
Frank Bishop is a really nice bloke. A good egg. Hard-working, good to his widowed
Mother. Someone who is always willing to do anything to help other people. Ask anyone.
He is also extremely respectable, and strongly disapproves of the three girls his friends have settled for, especially one, who has only the sketchiest idea of moral standards.
Unfortunately, when you combine all these virtuous traits with the naivety of youth, that timeless old chestnut "You can't put an old head on young shoulders" tends to rear its ugly, unwelcome head.
After meeting, then losing the love of his life in the space of ten minutes, Frank decides to find a decent girl to marry.
By the time he realises that marriage to the wrong woman isn't all it might be cracked up to be, his respectable wife has spent all his money and he has signed away the next twenty-five years of his life on a mortgage for a bungalow he doesn't even like.
Frank tries hard to make the best of it, until his wife's erratic behaviour has driven him almost to distraction.
Is there any hope for Frank? Will he ever find happiness again - the kind of happiness he experienced for just ten minutes at the Municipal Town Hall Dance?
