Annie Ernest Hemingway used to be happy girl living together with her mother and Sister Doris dreaming of the day she would become a detective or a journalist. Indeed, her mother was going to send her to study abroad but on the day she was supposed to travel, Annie’s mother died and she was henceforth obliged to take all the responsibilities her mother used to do and she became a copy cut from her mother running her uncle’s business and became the manager of the Sweet as Sugar Cupcakery who relied on Annie and her sister to grow his business and they finally managed to have the biggest order in their small town which was a marriage going down at her uncle’s Grand Ernest Hemingway Manor.

Annie thought she was going to enjoy a great wedding and imagined how many clients they would get after the wedding but nothing of that went well especially when the groom’s life ended dramatically right after drinking a glass of champagne when celebrating with his wife and the guests.

And as Annie’s uncle heard the news and the press began to ask a lot of questions about what happened exactly, Annie’s uncle begged her to clear his manor’s name and investigate personally the accident without letting the police know anything. Annie was very loyal to her family and couldn’t let the business her mother treasured to fall apart as simple as that and she started investigating together with her only sister Doris and her lover Matt and tried digging into the issue until she uncovered the hidden truth behind the death that seemed to be more complicated than a normal death.................
