UNC Chapel Hill graduate Robert Wells proudly announces his first published collection of poetry, War on X- Mas. A bisexual, atheist, vegan with a taxidermist grandfather, his work engages such topics as childhood adventures in the trailer park, the divorce of his parents, sonnets to video game characters, awkward travels through Amsterdam, and breakups, breakups and more breakups. Themes of love, loss, sexuality, religion and coming of age dominate the pages of this exploration of the thin line between the personal and the political.

War on X-Mas is now available for the Amazon Kindle and Kindle Fire; however, if you do not own a Kindle, you can download Amazon's free Kindle App and read from your computer or any mobile device, including iPads and Android phones. The collection includes 25 poems and is listed for $5 US dollars.

To encourage future generations of artists, Wells will be donating all of the profits from War on X-Mas to North Carolina Governor's School, a summer enrichment program for academically and artistically gifted students. Read more about NC Governor’s School at http://www.ncgsfoundation.org/
