Kara is ambitious, but her ambition isn't directed toward business or financial success. Her only concern is getting as many people to love her as humanly possible. She uses her looks to her full advantage and she's not afraid to flaunt it, but her stepdad hates the way she dresses and the way she acts drives him through a wall. They argue constantly.

She tried to teach him a lesson, first spilling coffee on his lap while they are driving and arguing, forcing him to pull over at a gas station, but she isn't done. She wants to teach him real good this time. She's old enough to do, say and dress the way she wants and it's time he learn that, so, on impulse, she stows away in a nearby vehicle while the occupants are in the station. She doesn't know it yet, but daddy won't be the one learning lessons. She has stowed away in a vehicle that's about to be used in a bank robbery and the only person learning lessons over the next few days will be her. The only question is whether or not she can handle the things these men will want to teach her.
