This little book consists of fifteen short-stories of varying length. Through a series of pen-pictures and sketches I have attempted to recall some of the events of my childhood years during the 1960s and early 1970s. The descriptions in this book are based on the area of Palmerstown in those days. A time that predated the massive re-development of West Dublin from the early 1980s onwards.Palmerstown was still a very rustic place, nestled between Lucan and Chapelizod.
Palmerstown has expanded greatly since those days, never-the- less that strong sense of community still flourishes and is very much in evidence to this day.
