NOW WHAT KIND OF CREEP would want to knock off a doll like Freddie Sharpe? The guy's a real sweetheart I tell you. Like for instance he still remembers his old pals. Him, the hottest guy in show business - Mr. Big himself. And they'll do anything for him. And I mean anything. They've got connections, these boys. Underground. You know, like a sewer.

Yessir, everybody loves Freddie. Like this cat isn't just a singer, he's an institution. Man, when Freddie starts to sing a million teenagers get sent the facts of life. Special delivery. They worship him...they really do.

So he's got a temper. Okay. A guy flips once in a while. So his goon squad stomps a few reporters now and then. Big deal. Or maybe some chick he tossed a few with turns out to be slightly under-age...or he humiliates somebody in public. - in four letters. You don't like it? Get lost.

That's just Freddie, that's all.

Ridiculous for anybody to want to kill a sweet guy like this.

Somebody wants to, though. I wonder who?
