What better way to share the word of God than through the colorful and expressive calligraphy of internationally known calligrapher Timothy R. Botts? The author of numerous books, including Doorposts, Windsongs, and Messiah, Botts's art carries religious verse off the page and into the homes of many admires. A degree in graphic design from Carnegie Mellon University combined with three years of study in Japan instilled in the artist a freedom of the brush and a unique means through which to express his spirituality. Among his exhibits are a "Vision of the Spirit" show at the Washington Cathedral and "Calligraphy in Graphic Arts" at Master Eagle Gallery in New York. He also conducts calligraphy workshops around the world, and curates a traveling calligraphy exhibit that explores the relationship between art and faith. The art from this calendar is drawn from two of his books The Books of Psalms and Portraits of the Word published by Tyndale House Publishers.
