How the Secret Changed My Life adds nothing new to the Secret franchise, but it's still fun to read if you enjoy hearing success stories about people who utilized the Law of Attraction. The criticisms of it have been voiced elsewhere and more eloquently: that it is predominantly focused on material things and that it stresses being happy at any cost. That being said, I liked the stories. I liked hearing about how people hit rock bottom and then changed their lives for the better. I really liked

This was incredible. It’s packed with so many stories and it just has the glow that can immediately uplift your mood. I’d usually read it before going to bed at night, and there are some famously known people in the book as well. What I really like is how you can actually track these people down on the secret website and that makes it authentic. I wish there were more books like these, about real people and real stories. If you do know any please recommend some!
How The Secret Changed My Life is an inspiring collection of stories of people who changed their lives using methods from The Secret. It’s repetitive since it still uses The Secret Daily Teachings and has the same words of wisdom from The Secret, but I still think this book is motivating, because anything positive that gives us a little momentum to change for the better is worth repeating. We all get stuck in a rut and old ways of thinking that doesn’t serve us, but these thoughts are so ingrain...
A special thank you to Atria and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. From the author, Rhonda Byrne, who brought us the life-transforming book, The Secret, which changed our way of thinking over a decade ago, with a follow-up HOW THE SECRET CHANGED MY LIFE. Real People. Real Stories. We all recall the wisdom and teachings of The Secret from money, wealth, relationships, health, career, and the secrets to changing lives. The power held within each of us to make changes in all
ARC for NetgalleyI first know about Law of Attraction from The Secret DVD and since then I started to do what the mentors said. Basically to have positive thinking and attitude, not to let things happen to me but making things happen to me by having a conscious mind, etc. This books is the continuity of The Secret. Like the title said it's about the experiences people have about LOA. And I love those. I feel empowered. It makes me believe that I deserve all the good things in the world. If they c...
**I received a free copy from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**I remember when I first watched The Secret, my dad had just gotten it and he was really excited about the whole family seeing the film. I had no idea what it was about and, when it was starting, I didn't understand what all those people were talking about, I had never heard of the law of attraction before, but after that moment, I started to understand so many things that had happened in my life that just...
If you want positivity in your life, you need to listen/read these stories. This certainly give you the feel good factor.
It is always inspiring to hear stories from "real" people. Most of these collected letters were motivating and encouraging, reinforcing the steps promoted by the book and video The Secret and it's successors.I found one particular letter near the end to be disturbing and over the top. While reading this book I kept comparing it to the Chicken Soup phenomenon.People appreciate being able to reach out to authors who help them feel better. They also like being to share their progress and success with
Whenever I need a shot of happiness I start to read Rhonda Byrne's books 📚 😌
I have been listening to this as an audiobook. At first it seemed like a simple refresher to THE SECRET. Lots of inspiring stories from people who have used the LOA (Law of Attraction) principles they learned from reading THE SECRET to manifest their dreams/desires. About half way through, I became very bored. I get it... people used the LOA and it worked for them. Great... now on to something else, we already know: ASK/BELIEVE/RECEIVE.If you are still struggling with manifesting your desires an...
Review: I've been a massive fan of The Secret for some years and have loosely used its teachings over the years. This book is full of REAL amazing and inspiring stories from REAL people from all over the world which is hugely uplifting to know that no matter where you are in the world or what your circumstances are you can use the teachings of The Secret to change your life. The book is not only full of stories but also inspiration quotes and key points in every section which you can refer back
A perfect book to ring in the new year! This fantastic 'sequel' of sorts follows the original "Secret" with inspirational stories of how the law of attraction works in real life. Sure to be re-read again and again. Highly recommended.
I love reading any book that talks about the secret because it always puts me in a good mood. If I feel sad or upset I start reading the secret and right away I feel so much better. I am not an expert in using the secret, but I can tell you that when I use the law of attraction properly my wish comes true ( my problem is that I am a very negative person so I have to fight with that, so if it works for me it will for sure work for you).It is not a book to read in one sitting, it is something to y...
It's really an amazing book. It's a must read book. Everytime I read this book it felt like I can have anything and everything in my life.
Rhonda Byrne is Great. She writes not only books but she has a clear message of living and thinking positive. I am a big fan of Rhonda Byrne books because she writes beautifully.I recently read this one and it is a brilliant book so far by the author. It has Real People. Real Stories. I was thrilled by reading this book. Really the secret changed my life.
I like this one better than many of the others, due to its concrete advice.I continue to be alarmed (as someone with some serious health issues, that are caused by injuries inflicted upon me by a not-benevolent person) about The Secret franchise's lack of focus on modern medicine or the justice system. Rhonda does cut in and mention that LOA needs to be *combined* with modern medicine once, but given the legs toxic positivity has in the US (that's on our culture, not on Rhonda) I felt like it ne...
I loved this book because of the joy it brought me while reading it. Is it hard to imagine that all of these wonderful things happened to these people? Sometimes. But believing that it did made me smile on days that I really needed it. If you're a fan of The Secret (book or film) and want some extra tips on how to use the Law of Attraction while also enjoying personal accounts of how it works for people all over the world, read this.
*Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to read this book for free, in exchange for an honest review*I would give this book 2.5 stars. Let's start with the bad and move to the good. Many of the stories seemed repetetive and there were a few times where I doubted a story. What I did like about this book is the organization of it. The book is organized by topics ex.health, relationships, and each story is followed by a short explanation about how the person followed the rules of 'The secret' to ac...
First book I read regarding law of attraction.I always want to give it to others to read, but sadly I have only one copy of it.Loved it. I read it always in the morning, so it really helped me to set a postive intention from the start. And whenever I felt not in my best mood, it’s the book which helped me because I can open any page and change the way I feel. It helped me see any kind of situation from a more positive light and also find a way for improvement a lot easier. In short - INSPIRING.R...
