Thoughts on the Antisocial Personality

Thoughts on the Antisocial Personality

David A. Porter
0/5 ( ratings)
Imagine if you had no conscience. No anxiety, no fear, no worry, and a casual indifference toward right and wrong. There are those who are not so burdened, and who operate with a disregard for the rights of others. They read other people and determine what their needs, vulnerabilities and weaknesses are, and deliver what they want to hear earnestly and smoothly. They manipulate and use other people. They exploit others financially, assault and rape, and kill others without shame, guilt or remorse. They see themselves as the victims however. These people are referred to as sociopaths, or psychopaths, or Antisocials. They are literally against society. Here are a series of essays exploring the antisocial personality, from a psychotherapist who has sat with them and heard their stories, as well as the experiences of their victims.
