My latest book and what spurred this website. This book stretches the typical devotional boundaries, because, let’s face it, life doesn’t always go by the rules. Most devotionals are like breath mints: sweet and practically fluffy; they certainly have their place. But this one is more visceral and as the title suggests, full of surf and skier’s slang. Difficult questions are addressed. Many of the devotions include the perspective of a non-Christian seeker…and then challenge it. 60 short chapters, not 365, and many a bit longer than one page. Like I said, rule-testing and no holds barred.
