On May 28,2016, HARAMBE a Lowland Silver Back gorilla was shot to death at the Cincinatti zoo. His crime? Taking care and trying to protect a 4 years old little boy who had fallen into his enclosure while the child's "mother" had better things to do than keeping a vigilant eye on him. There was no reason, no excuse to kill him for he was simply doing what gorillas do with little ones, no matter their kind, like when JAMBO, a 25 years old gorilla, had saved the life of a 5 years old little boy in Jersey zoo in 1986.

HARAMBE lost his life because someone didn't do her job as a mother, like any caring mother does. This little book is a tribute to a gentle giant, raised in Texas and murdered in Cincinatti on a sad day of May 2016.
