Stephen Power is an award-winning photographer and writer, who has dedicated much of his life to teaching others the skills that he has used during his successful career.

This concise book covers the basics you will need to take more control of your digital camera and produce images that you will be proud to show to others.

The book is in 3 main sections: Camera Basics; Essential Photographic Theory and Creative Photographic Techniques. It is full of high quality photographic images taken during Power's work on book and magazine assignments, covering a range of subject matter including, Portraiture,Travel, Music, Sport, Landscape and Environmental Portraiture Photography.

In the author's own words: "My aim is not to offer a comprehensive guide to photography theory or technique. What I hope to do is point you in the right direction in terms of some of the basic essentials you need to know to get started."
