Classie Johnson has spent her whole life cruising on Easy Street. Not only does she know just what she wants, but she knows just how to get it, without working for it, just like her Mama taught her. Classie has the perfect best friend, Gemma, whom she loves dearly as a sister for support and guidance. She also had a new mark, Charlotte’s newest ‘It Boy’ and millionaire, Taylor Chantilly, nipping at her heels. Complete with a baby mansion, beautiful luxury cars, and all the other luxuries that money can buy, Classie’s life could only get better by finally opening the A-list spa she had been dreaming of.
That is, until Classie’s world is shaken up when the benefactor who supports her way of life suddenly cuts her off, and her dreams go down the drain. After a falling out with Gemma and realizing she may be feeling Taylor more than she should, Classie sinks into denial about the state of her affairs. When terror threatens to invade Classie’s life, she goes to the last place she ever wants to be: home.
Though Classie would have rather been anywhere in the world than with her country, yet loveable relatives, she is forced to confront a great deal about herself, and the life style her Granny Pearlie says will get her hurt. It isn’t until the final hour that Classie sees a glimpse of Granny Pearlie’s wisdom about what really matters in life does Classie appreciate the lesson that was being given to her. But is she too late?
