Most are familiar figures from Spitting Image's cruel and intensely satisfying television puppet show, but they have never been captured in quite this way before.

All the puppet models have been refined and some have been completely rebuilt, Mrs Thatcher for one - 'Because we've never been really satisfied with her,' says Law - and Mick Jagger for another - 'He's aged so.'

As for what they've gone and done with Neil Kinnock...Well that, for the moment, remains another mystery.
