TALKaVILLE

TALKaVILLE

Latanya Cyrus
0/5 ( ratings)
Skye Taylor had given up on love. After breaking up with her long term boyfriend, Bruce, she vows to never give her heart away again. She goes back to living a quiet life minding her own business and choosing to stay to herself...
Until she meets Amoka and Carma, a city girl that fell in love with Skye's cousin, Skreetz. She relocates her life with plans of getting married and becoming his future wife.
Once Carma realizes that things are not as they seem, and that they would be living with his family forever, she tries to push Skreetz to man up so they can start their life together. But she can't get Skreetz to budge because he is more in love with his mama.
When Amoka hips Skye and Carma to the game based on local gossip, Carma realizes that in TALKaVILLE, it was the man's way or the highway. She struggles to make sense of the abuse and cheating that the women put up with around her. Could she ever be so stupid as to stay with a man that she knew was lying to her and cheating behind her back?
The lesson that all three women learn is that nothing is fair in love and war, ...if you are the woman. The main chick was expected to be okay with the side chic...and behind closed doors, the women allowed it.
The same men and women in the church every Sunday...
Once the truth starts coming out, and people's secrets exposed, all hell breaks loose.
The streets of TALKaVILLE are talking...and they have nothing nice to say about anyone.
Living in a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, where everybody is having relations with everybody, Skye, Carma and Amoka decide to switch the game up. They decide they were not putting up with the lies and infidelity anymore.
Before it all comes to a head, they realize for the first time that as far as loving a black man is concerned, nothing is fair in love and war...
Someone was going to get hurt.
No one would believe the drama that goes on in a country town with one light!
