Forth was invented by Chuck Moore in the 1960s as a programming language. Chuck was not impressed by programming languages, operating systems, and computer hardware of that time. And then, he found that he could design better computers in transistors and gates, because Forth is much more than just a programming language; it is also an excellent computer architecture.
