I'm giving this set of books as a whole a 2.5 (marked down to 2) because overall I felt the pack was just okay... too predictable for my liking, with the poor Earthling boyfriend given short-shrift as being too normal and therefore boring. It began interestingly enough, but then the first book ended annoyingly for me because it was so clearly not an end. Luckily because I had the omnibus I immediately started v2, but I have to admit that getting through v3 was a bit of a slog and I only finished...
