The Highland Fling Murders

The Highland Fling Murders

Donald Bain
3.9/5 ( ratings)
Looks like great fun! A group of friends from Cabot Cove, Maine, take off for the British Isles to join Jessica Fletcher while she's on a book tour in London. They all end up at an ancient castle in Scotland. Exciting. It would have been a great vacation--except for the ghost. And the murders.

Did we mention that the castle in Scotland is owned by George Sutherland? The Inspector with Scotland Yard. The interesting man she met in "Gin & Daggers," the first entry in the series, the last time she was in London. It's located in the town of Wick and has been in his family for centuries.

It's a time of witches, both in the distant past and very current, and it's a time of pitchforks to the heart. Can Jessica rise to the occasion in Scotland?

Librarian's note: the first book in the Jessica Fletcher / Donald Bain "Murder She Wrote" series was Gin & Daggers, 1989 . The first five titles are listed with it's entry. Titles six through ten are: #6, A Deadly Judgement, 1996; #7, A Palette for Murder, 1996; #8, The Highland Fling Murders, 1997; #9, Murder on the QE2, 1997; and #10, Murder in Moscow, 1998.
