Rereading this thirty years on provides a demonstration that whilst much has changed in relation to Scotland's relationship to the English constitution, so many of the same issues remain fundamentally unresolved.I recall being animated by much of the commentary contributions which showed a wide and surprising range of opinions. That remains the case, but I fear much of the writing now comes across as turgid.
