Simply put: Blessed with great quotes. I don't remember the last time I had to highlight so many good quotes in a book. Even though I couldn't agree to few generic suggestions, I can't ignore the good ideas and fine thoughts. Give it a read to understand how to get inner clarity.
An ok read. The book did have many deep insights, however felt a little floaty and lacked depth for me personally. I would have preferred a deeper exploration into some of the ideas. The core idea pretty much gets over in half of the book and the second half is just a collection of blogs on life advice. I'm not a fan of self-help reads, so the second half did disappoint me greatly. Overall it was ok, and I'm sure it will benefit a lot of people !
Good, but quite repetitive. Could have been published as an article.
The most practical book!Darius Foroux has taken the challenges of life on personal growth and provided actionable tips which are unfuckable. You will admire the simplicity of the book and how to the point everything is taught. It is covering topics that are most relevant for individual success with highly practical tips for finding a mentor which I haven't come across from any other content. The author is determined to help his readers and apart from providing his newsletter, he has also suggested
Darius Foroux divides the book into three main parts: Inner Warfare, Control, and Purpose. He challenges readers to take accountability and to commit towards self-improvement. There is also an emphasis on narrowing down what to truly focus on while having a growth mindset while shutting out other people's expectations. Finally, he challenges an exploration of happiness and meaning through goal-setting and cutting off the ego. The book has many "aha" moments sprinkled in but no unifying mantra to...
Good for people going through a tough period who needs a boost of motivation and overall clarity. Might seem elementary for people who are already familiar with the subject and wish to explore psychology in depth
This book is like a reminder of sorts and reading it once is not enough. So, lately i have started to read self-help books, which i always found too preachy. This book is a no nonsense, straight to the point, giving you all the tips that will help you overcome fear. But then, it is easier said than done, goes right with it and the author too points out that reading it will not help unless one takes an action. So, in perspective, read it if you want a reminder of how not to waste time, how to fin...
Book #93 Completed: Win Your Inner Battles – Darius Foroux #myread4change #read2lead #read4life #books #selfhelpbook #Dariusforoux #innerdailogueHow we talk with others matters, what matters more is our internal dialogue. Beliefs we have believed, limits we have set for ourselves of what we can and can’t be, do, and have.Darius claims that it's fear of all kinds that restricts us to become who we can be, and playing small whether to fit in, not going out of the crowd, while secretly or openly ke...
