I have to say I loved this story. The reason for the four stars instead of the five was the ending. Those last couple of pages I was like huh?? The ending needed some resolutions and polishing. Otherwise it would have been five stars

Good mystery.Story timeline moves back and forth, and alternates between two sisters. In some areas made me angry, but made the reading more exciting. Controlling, deceitful characters, also truly caring ones. Every one of them had their twisted stories. Good and entertaining novel.

I was lucky enough to read an advance reader copy of this book. I've enjoyed all of Emily's books and this was no exception. This is a great thriller and fast-paced read following a sister who is an EMT through her worst nightmare: getting called to a scene and finding her sister the victim of a gunshot. What happened lies at the center of this book and you'll race to the end to find out.

This was a really good book. Excellent narration by Kate Rudd (audible review).I liked the mystery and the back and forth between the sisters and the the time line. I like the characters and the story. I did not like the that the ending was a bit rushed and and made me feel like something was missing.
