MONTAGUE ULLMAN, M.D. , was the director of the Division of Parapsychology and Psychophysics at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He was president of the Gardner Murphy Research Institute in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and professor of psychiatry at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. In 1962 he initiated the Dream Laboratory at the Maimonides Medical Center, where pioneering work has been carried out on the experimental study of telepathic dreams. Dr. Ullman served as president of both the Parapsychological Association and the American Society for Psychical Research. He is the author of multiple books and articles.
