The Fanatic

The Fanatic

David L Ruggeri
0/5 ( ratings)
A worshipping fan/stalker watches as a famous movie star murders her agent. The agent’s corruption of the actress' tender but ambitious youth has led her to both the top of her profession and the bottom of the moral food chain. When the fan realizes that the police are closing in on the actress, it becomes imperative to protect her; and how better than a copycat killing when the actress has a perfect alibi. Now, expecting the object of devotion to be appreciative, the fan is spurned and begins a misguided campaign of terror in an attempt to win the star's affection. Each chapter is preceded by a letter to the actress depicting the escalating madness that drives the fan to acts of desperation ending after a wild chase through the streets of LA with a major twist in a shocking conclusion at the Academy Awards. The ending of THE FANATIC will ranks along with those of “The Crying Game” and “The Sixth Sense.” The book introduces Vincent D'Amato, LAPD detective, in the first of a series. [Explicit sex and violence]
