God's Prescription: Al-Quran (Knowing Islam Book 2)

God's Prescription: Al-Quran (Knowing Islam Book 2)

Javed Naseem Maqsood
0/5 ( ratings)
Abraham is the father of three main monotheistic religions of the world: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. If you look at the astonishing similarities among them, you would be shocked. They have not only common grounds but also the common heritage. And that makes you think if these three religions were the chips of the same block! Actually they are. Their common ground and common heritage is the proof. The Almighty God did not create a separate special religion for every nation in the world, every couple of hundreds of years. God, the Supreme Creator, prescribed one universal religion for the mankind. Since the wicked man, under the influence of the Devil altered the rituals, modified the rules or the code and edited the commandments of the Lord, the changed religion got corrupted every few hundred years. Therefore, God continued to remind mankind of His true and pure Scripture every few hundred years through a prophet or a messenger from among the nations. Torah, Gospel and the Quran are all reminders to the mankind of the one true Book or Scripture that commands people to surrender to the Will of God. This surrender is called Islam in Arabic language of the Quran. It might have different names during the times of Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus, depending on their nation's language. But one thing is certain! Moses' religion was not called Judaism, nor was Jesus' religion called Christianity. Judaism and Christianity are the later inventions of the Greek and English translators of the Scriptures. All prophets followed one universal religion prescribed by the Lord Creator, and according to the last Messenger of God, who was Muhammad of the Arabia, in his language it is called Islam. In other words, Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus might have called it by different names in their languages but the system was the same, enforcing the same code of conduct and ethics. And that was Islam. Hence the similarities. The main chapter and the essence of this book is: All Prophets Were Muslims. They worshiped and promoted One God; they offered prayers; they fasted; they preached the same social justice system; and they all surrendered to the Will of God -- and that is Islam. A system of life based on social justice, peace, righteousness, equality, helping the needy and remembering gratefully the Almighty God is actually Islam. It was named Islam by the Almighty Creator for the last nation on Earth -- you and me!
