Intentional Small Groups: A Complete Guide For Leading A Small Group

Intentional Small Groups: A Complete Guide For Leading A Small Group

Small Group Leader Training that provides down to earth guidance for offering powerful, life changing groups.

Intentional Small Groups is a complete guide for every small group leader and facilitator.

This ebook will help you lead groups in and toward Christian community and spiritual growth.

I wrote Intentional Small Groups because a great small group does not happen by accident. They are forged by leaders who lead with purpose and great intentionality. I believe reading this eBook will help you to do the same.

Why Is This Small Group Leader Training Different?

A few years ago I was asked to oversee the small group ministry at my church. After trying multiple ways to do groups I finally settled on a few important principles that guide our groups rather than a strict method of how each group functions.

This eBook is a not a system or methodology for doing groups.

I found that people lead most effectively when they have the freedom to offer a group based on their passions and interests.

Rather than telling the leader how to lead their group, I decided to provide guidance to help them offer their group in the most effective way.

Intentional Small Groups is a complete guide for leaders that is divided into six parts specific to small group leader training!
•Leadership Essentials
•Understanding Spiritual Growth
•Multiplication
•Keys To A Successful Small Group
•Navigating Conversations
•Final Encouragement

After leading groups myself, having conversations with other leaders, and receiving feedback from those involved, a couple key things began to surface concerning group life.

Christian community and spiritual growth are two sides to one coin.

I believe that if you are intentional about being around Christian community, spiritual growth will inevitably take place. Another way of putting it would be, if you are serious about growing spiritually you have to be involved in Christian community.

If you lead a small group around a common interest, share a bible study, meet with other married couples, have a prayer group, or gather in a home or a coffee shop the principles in this guide will equip you and provide effective small group leader training.

I wrote this eBook to help you and I believe it will.
