Step Into Sky: 100 Haiku

Step Into Sky: 100 Haiku

Ban'Ya Natsuishi
4/5 ( ratings)
"Step Into Sky" is John Sandbach's first book of haiku, which was originally published in a bilingual Japanese/English edition in Japan by Happa-no-Kofu press. In that edition Sandbach's poems were beautifully rendered in Japanese by the book's translator and editor, Kazue Daikoku. About this book the author says:

"This book represents a turning point in my artistic life, for the great Japanese haiku poet Ban'ya Natsuishi, gave me much encouragement and also wrote the introduction for this book. It is due to both his and Kazue Daikoku's advice and feedback that I found inside myself the confidence to seek my own unique artistic way, and to continue the experimental writing of haiku.
