An ancient abbey…
A centuries-old mystery surrounding a supernatural relic…
With a little girl at its heart…

Twenty years ago, when she was just four years old, Noelle Dominique visited the ancient site of Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, France. In the alcove, near the exit, stands a statue of the Archangel, a statue Noelle believed spoke to her that day, warning of apocalyptic consequences if 'they didn’t give it back'.

Now, no longer a child, Noelle returns to her father’s homeland and Mont Saint-Michel seeking answers to the mystery that had haunted her since was a little girl. After narrowly escaping a kidnapping attempt by two men dressed as members of France’s military police, Noelle realizes she’s not the only one in pursuit of Michael’s missing relic. The men who tried to kidnap her seemed to think she knew where it was. Unfortunately, she could think of no way to convince them she didn’t even know what it was they’re searching for, let alone where it could be found after all this time.

A stunning inheritance from her father, who died just before her initial visit to the ancient abbey, forces Noelle to conclude her father, just weeks before his death, had been on the trail of the same relic. It also makes her question whether his death had indeed been the result of the accident the authorities had assumed it was.

Afraid and uncertain, Noelle turns to an old family friend, Rafael Lucien, for help. Incredulous and disbelieving at first of her claim of the archangel’s threat, Rafe soon realizes his mistake. Despite his doubts about Noelle’s memories of what happened at the site when she was a young child, it soon becomes obvious to Rafe, that whatever it was, it had been resurrected by Noelle's return to France. She was in danger... a danger that threatened her life.

The men who attempted to kidnap her at Mont Saint-Michel were members of an extremist group who seemed to believe the strange legends surrounding Mont Saint-Michel. The same legends that held that back in the eighth century, the church secretly sent a relic of supernatural origin to the remote site for safekeeping. A relic that was believed to grant its bearer an overwhelming advantage in battle…a weapon of such force that it could threaten the balance of world power.

In a race, against both time and their enemies, Noelle and Rafe set out to find the key that unlocks the mystery to the location of Michael's missing relic.

There’s a deadline hanging over their heads. The swiftly approaching anniversary of Noelle’s first visit to the site. If they can’t locate the relic before then, Michael will make good on his threat to destroy the ancient abbey and everyone in and around it, rather than allow his gift to mankind to fall into the wrong hands.
