PTSD and Complex PTSD: Relief from Supplements, Salt Ion Therapy, Crystals, Gemstones, and more!

If you have PTSD or Complex PTSD, you know firsthand how extremely debilitating the symptoms can be. You might wake up in the middle of the night, sweating profusely. You might experience night terrors where intruders or other people are attacking or harming you. You could be suffering from flashbacks of your trauma during the day that interrupt your daily activities. You might suffer from social anxiety so severe that makes it difficult to get outside the home and attend work or school. Some people even wake up with bruises and scratches on their skin.
People with PTSD symptoms often suffer from agitation, rage, anger, sadness, helplessness and hopelessness. A sufferer that is severe on all 4 quadrants of the PTSD and Complex PTSD testing and diagnostic scales might suffer such fear and anxiety that they may consider suicide, cutting, self-harm or dangerous activities as the only relief to their symptoms.
Many people are misdiagnosed or underdiagnosed for much of their lives. They may not tell the doctors, counselors or psychiatrists how distressing their psychiatric symptoms are for fear of shame and humiliation. They may be afraid to be called ‘neurotic’, ‘crazy’ or psychotic. Many people who suffer from PTSD or Complex PTSD don’t go in to get treatment for fear that they will be hospitalized, and that they will carry the stigma for the rest of their lives that they are classified as ‘mentally ill’.
Still others think that PTSD or Complex PTSD only happens to veterans, people who suffer from severe attacks or natural disasters or others who have experienced ‘much worse’ trauma. The truth of the matter is that anyone can suffer from Complex PTSD and PTSD at any time. Any type of trauma in people who are not resilient, who lack social support, or who are genetically pre-disposed to naturally being anxious via their DNA can cause PTSD or Complex PTSD.
Multiple experiences that feel traumatic to the individual can result in Complex PTSD or Complex Trauma. The symptoms of Complex Trauma are often much more severe and much more difficult to pin down than traditional PTSD. PTSD sufferers may have only experienced one event where they felt helpless or hopeless.
Complex PTSD sufferers have been exposed over and over to situations where they feel hopeless and helpless. They begin to suffer from ‘learned helplessness’, and their brain is always focusing on their trauma rather than on their opportunities for learning and personal growth throughout their lives. They are essentially ‘stuck’ in the past.
PTSD and Complex PTSD sufferers often use other unhealthy means in order to dampen their stress reactions to the outside world. They may resort to prescription or street drugs, reckless sex, reckless driving, gambling, alcohol, fighting, abuse, obsessive shopping or other means of soothing. The problem is that many of these thing are illegal, and they will increase the likelihood of additional trauma in the form of financial problems, legal problems, and problems with work or relationships.
A person with PTSD or Complex PTSD eventually suffers from brain damage and body damage from the stress and trauma. Their brain and central nervous system never settles down. They are constantly scanning their environment for real or perceived threats. They eventually become fearful, distrustful and paranoid of nearly every encounter if they do not tackle their symptoms from the beginning of the trauma, and redirect their life’s course appropriately to experience healthy events and healthy human interaction.
This ebook seeks to give you tools which you can use to combat your PTSD or Complex PTSD. These tools and their success will vary for each and every person with PTSD or Complex PTSD.
