Not worth it.The drama and over dramatics was interesting for about a book and a half, then they only saving grace was slade and trinity. So I finished the books only wanting to read more because of those characters. I looked into the rest of the series at is 51 books at $4.99 a piece. NOPE!!! Also read the descriptions and the drama just seemed to go in circles for ever. I fell like I wasted a lot of time reading this.
Just okNot one to judge but only finished reading it because I started this set. Just not a book set I would ever enjoy as much as I should. Too juvenile .
These books are trash, do not waste your time. They are poorly written, but that’s the least of their flaws. The relationships are completely co-dependent and based on traditional gender roles that glorify all of the evils of the patriarchy. The men are violent and controlling, and these books glorify those qualities as being important and even healthy in close relationships. The author demeans gay people by having her male characters make insulting jokes about being “gay” because they care for
Don’t waste your time. I’m choosing to ignore the fact that there are 51 books in this series bc it’s ridiculous and I didn’t read past the first three. The plot line is very basic and never ending on purpose. The second book does not have an ending and the third doesn’t either. Nothing is ever resolved so that problems can continue forever. Books are meant to have a beginning, middle, and end and this is just not that. Gets two stars because at least I finished them. Typos all over the place, u...
DNFKindle freebie. I was so excited to get three books for free. That should've been a red flag. I tried, I really did, to get through the first book but I couldn't. The writing was horrible. No descriptions; never made you feel like you were in the book watching these characters. I kept getting confused with the characters and who was actually related instead of family friends. I stopped at the point when Skye was arguing with her dad so I don't know how it ended or how any of the other books e...
Well, if you like reading about rich, privileged, spoiled brats, then this book is for you. But, prepare to be bored, because it just chronicles their everyday life. I bailed on the book because I was so bored with the story. The characters aren't particularly likeable, and aren't anyone most people would relate to. I kept waiting for the story to pick up and catch my interest, but it never did.
I love the characters but I don’t think I’ll be reading anymore. 47 books in a series? I don’t have $200 to spend to find out what happens. I would consider buying if there wasn’t cliffhangers at the end of each of the three books I’ve read. What I did like was you still have POV of other characters as she started to introduce their stories but the fact that you don’t know if a couple ends up together over the course of a couple of books if frustrating.
Normally I don't write reviews about books because I like to reflect upon them long after I've read them. I am also not one to give up on reading a book, but this one? Oh man, I am speechless. I don't know what is more annoying, the characters themselves (Skye being the most annoying of them all), the writing or the pacing of this book. It took all my willpower to even read through the first 120 pages and afterwards I just couldn't handle it anymore. The characters are boring. They are all rich,...
