The author, a structural engineer, went to work in post colonial Africa, to help African countries to build their independence. In Africa she made many discoveries, and observations. Cumulatively they enriched and changed her life, destiny, and made her wise and a stronger person.
Life is unpredictable. How someone life is developed no one knows, or could predict. All depends on circumstances, fate, and environment. They shape the person’s destiny.
In this story the author share with her readers her personal exposure to Africa’s natural world, discoveries, customs, culture, people, and work. And how it influenced her life and make her wise and fearless.
