This book attempts to bring back some of the forgotten treatments of the distant past. Here are dozens of chapters discussing medicine from many different angles that were written by great men and women long since deceased. I certainly have not exhausted all the misadventures of medicine. Volumes alone can be written of Quacks and supposed cures that unfortunates had to suffer through, and I may produce another book along those lines in the future. Read this book, enjoy it, and thank God for modern medicine.
