I was so happy, so content, so entirely taken with him. We moved apart again, and he looked around and then back at me and said “Your simply amazing, but I don't want to...” and he trailed off looking at me. I said “You don't want to what?” feeling a knot growing in my chest. “I don't want to make out with you in a bar.” I relaxed and realized it made sense and was not my thing either.

I had an idea where this was headed but never dared hoped. “Where would you feel more comfortable?” He smiled and said, “I'm nervous, and I don't want you to think I'm after anything beyond what we have already done, but would you consider coming to my place with me?” I just smiled and said, “I can't think of anywhere I want to be more.”
