God Has Spoken: Inerrancy and Inspiration (The Mal Couch Legacy Collection Book 4)

God Has Spoken: Inerrancy and Inspiration (The Mal Couch Legacy Collection Book 4)

0/5 ( ratings)
From the beginning of the church, Christians have always believed that the Bible is the Word of God. They followed prominent orthodox Jewish rabbis in proclaiming that the Old Testament Scriptures came from the heart and mind of Jehovah. But the church also realized that the New Testament claimed the same inspiration, authenticity, and accuracy as the older testament. For each generation, the objective scrutiny of the entire Bible has confirmed the truth that its origins were divine.

Though penned by human authors and bearing the stamp of their writing styles, the Scriptures were, nevertheless, the work of the Holy Spirit. This conception of co-authorship shows the Spirit’s superintendence in both the recorded thoughts and words of each book produced. The result is that “among other things, that entire truthfulness [is assured] which is everywhere presupposed in, and asserted for, Scripture by the Biblical writers.”

The goal here is to set forth the biblical doctrines that need to be restated and reemphasized to a new generation of Christians who are often confronted about their faith in the workplace or on the college campus. This work is also meant to faithfully represent what the Bible clearly tells us about how the God of the universe has revealed Himself to a sinful race.
