Breaking Chains: 30 Days to Freedom from Marijuana Dependency

Breaking Chains: 30 Days to Freedom from Marijuana Dependency

Nicholas Ronald
0/5 ( ratings)
Some people can use marijuana casually and beneficially throughout their lives. For other people, this author included, it can become a habit and eventually an out of control dependency. Marijuana dependency can cause serious harm to personal growth, relationships and career goals. It can be a hard habit to kick!

The good news is that freedom awaits. This brief guide was made to help heavy users get through the first 30 days of breaking a pot habit. It is a mix of practical tips, personal observations and some basic substance abuse psychology. We look into the concepts of triggers, the addiction cycle, associations, and escapism that often go along with heavy marijuana use. The book is written in a one day at a time format and is full of encouragement and positive affirmations.

By the end of this guide, the reader will hopefully
A. Be well on the way to freedom from marijuana dependency.
B. Have a better idea on what drove them to use so heavily in the first place.
C. Have a forward looking plan to deal with the internal frustrations that lead to substance use and abuse.
D. Have learned positive coping strategies that do not involve marijuana.

I have tried to write in a tone that is serious without being too boring. You won't find reefer madness propaganda or the idea that "it's just weed".

Marijuana dependency is not physically dangerous, but it can be hell psychologically. We hope to overcome it together.
