Christian Excellence and Morality: Finding Balance between the pursuit of Christian Excellence and Morality in life

Christian Excellence and Morality: Finding Balance between the pursuit of Christian Excellence and Morality in life

Henry Weiss
0/5 ( ratings)
In June 2017, Tim Farron resigned as leader of the UK’s Liberal Democrats, stating that, “To be a political leader – especially of a progressive, liberal party…and to live as a committed Christian, to hold faithfully to the Bible’s teachings, has felt impossible for me.” Farron even concluded that, “We are kidding ourselves if we think we yet live in a tolerant, liberal society.” Tim Farron could not continue his political career due to moral conflicts posed on his Christian beliefs by an increasingly secularised society. The message of this book is that if you are a Christian politician like Farron, or you are a businessman, a journalist, a judge, a scientist, a youth, or a student, you can be an excellent workman or woman, and still hold dear to your moral beliefs in a topsy-turvy world of moral decline.

Many books talk about success, prosperity, productivity, greatness, victorious Christian living, morality, etc. But this book is unique and distinctive such that it specializes in the field of enhancing the Christian’s willpower and mind power in the midst of the many conflicts or struggles he/she encounters in his/her Christian walk with God. Several books talk about the struggles of the Christian; but to the best of my knowledge, none except this work elaborates on the real causes of these struggles, and on the Christian’s ability and stability to achieve excellence and peak performance in all his endeavors. This book is more specific, more specialized than most of its competing counterparts in the worldwide book industry. It addresses the issue of the said moral conflicts accurately and precisely by rightly hitting the nail on the head. It is very focused like a laser beam and purposeful from the beginning to the end of the book. It has a rich fund of verses drawn from the Holy Bible. So the work has a great scriptural backing. It does not just exist on its own. It relies on the authenticity of the word of God – the Bible. It has unique features, which will appeal to the needs of millions of Christians scattered across the world.
