Marilynne Todd Linford
0/5 ( ratings)
The idea for Trapped in a Longcut? came as Marilynne experienced emotional spectrums of pain, frustration, and loss with friends and family who watched husbands, children, or other women make poor choices. She has named these poor choices—longcuts. A longcut is a choice that compromises a person’s ability to function normally; consequently, longcuts limit freewill and complicate life. By observing individuals trapped in longcuts, she has seen the miserable consequences that addictive and anti-social behaviors create. She has observed how these choices jeopardize future opportunities, potential, and happiness. This book represents her desire to help teens and adults who are in a longcut get out. More importantly, her purpose is to warn and arm the rising generation with skills that will help them avoid the longcuts that are plaguing this generation. Prevention is far superior to reparation.
