Work Programme and other workfare schemes to force unemployed people to work for free.
Workfare is a threat to every worker. If you are unemployed you face being made to do unpaid work by a company that is making millions. If you are in work you face the threat of having your paid job replaced by free labour.
This pamphlet looks at the history of attacks on unemployed workers, organising the unemployed and how workfare undermines jobs and wages.
