The citizens of Stagnant Waters have just ended a five-year war by defeating the last two vampires. Weapons are tossed aside. Various pieces of body armor are retired like the hunters who no longer have any use for such tools. The elated townspeople emerge from hiding and proceed to celebrate their newfound independence with good food, good tunes and good times. The end. Or so they thought. Jayden Smith awakes the next day to find that his parents and every other person in Stagnant Waters have been turned into vampires. Only the latest bloodsuckers have a weakness the previous vampires did not: they can be cured with insecticides. Armed with cans of bug spray, foggers and insect repellent, Jayden sets off to rescue his friends. Together, they hope to discover the answers to "who could have possibly turned an entire town" and "how do they stop the culprit?"
