Many millennials might be familiar with the term ‘slime’ from Nickelodeon, being introduced to the green slime of the decade. Recently, the wonderful gooey craze has returned, being the ultimate chase for both children and adults alike. Borax is used in range of household items, including insecticide, toothpaste and certain stain removers. The chemical when exposed to skin, may cause irritation and inflammation to some. According to the Guardian, cases of increased slime making using Borax have revealed children suffering. Parents are worried about these cases, although the U.S. authorities have assured the safety protocols of the ingredient. Nevertheless, there are recipes that enables anyone to create slime without the use of Borax. This article is a simple DIY guide on the various methods of creating borax free slim.
