Far into the future mankind buried under plates that cover the earth and meant to restore nature to its former glory, gleaming cities of technology while they attempted to master the arcane discipline of magic. The fabric of space and time is threatened when King Julius invades neighboring dimensions in a never-ending circle of conquest. Using dimensional gates, a long-forgotten construct made using the ancient discipline of science, King Julius uses his war mages and armies to crush any who oppose him. Yet no matter how far he travels, the legend of the foretold greets his ears and threatens to end his plans, and life.

Unbeknownst to the king, the foretold, a child named Thomas, was saved from death by his own confidant and general, Ge’Daheen. While King Julius marches across dimensions to establish his rule, Ge’Daheen organizes the rebellion, waiting for the day the foretold is strong enough to help them overthrow the king.

Waiting in the background to take their places next to Thomas, two individuals out of time lend their guidance and support to help him come to terms with his destiny. The Wolf, an enigmatic voice from the past who reaches forward from the dust to help Thomas in his most dire times of need, and Thorn, the living embodiment of a wild animal and a fierce protector.
