We call them by a couple of names Heretics, divine assassins, and finally the title that they are comfortable with God-slayers. Now no one is born a god slayer no that would be just divine irony. God slayer are chosen at random by the creators of the universe. Their original purpose is to kill gods that go rouge and threaten all of reality. But now they have no purpose, but to survive, the gods of old no longer will let them live in peace. The Covent of the originals a society of evil elder gods have made it clear that god-slayers will either serve them or die. But one day the four of the five founding members of the Covent were killed by four new god-slayers, and this four are now forced into a world that they don’t understand and may not survive.
